Fun Easter Crafts and Food Ideas for Kids

Pastel colors and cotton balls, Easter grass and yellow peeps - all bring clothes spirit baskets with eggs, bunnies and pretty little girl. Ah spring. After a long cold winter, it's fun to plan projects for spring and Easter with your children. Here, of course, are a couple of fun ideas for Easter crafts and delicious snacks that can make your children and - to eat!

Paper Bag Easter Bunny

A bag lunch for a paper bag

Cut a V-shaped notch at the top of each bag lunch. Start from the top and bring your notch down. These form the ears. Close the bag and plate. Then cut your notch with both sides of the bag together. This will be the bunny ears. Cut out ear shapes with the white construction paper and glue "ear" of the bag. Cut a smaller piece in pink for the inside of the ears, or vice versa, the colors. Easter Jelly Bean Fudge

2 cups white chocolate

1 (16 ounce) container vanilla frosting

2 cups miniature jelly beans in pastel colors

Line Grease a 9 inch square pan with foil and lightly. Melt the chips according to package directions or in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantlyuntil the chocolate is melted and smooth. Add the sugar and stir until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. (Fudge mix
should shake slightly, but not hot enough to melt the gelatin children.) Add the jelly beans and mix well. Spread the fudge mixture into the prepared pan to cool and set at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Remove the foil and fudge from the pan and set on a cutting surface. Carefully remove theFoil and cut into small pieces of fondant. Makes 3 dozen pieces.

Edible Easter Baskets

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1 cup miniature marshmallows

3 shredded wheat biscuits, ground

Jelly Beans

Place butter in a medium bowl. Microwave at 100% for 30 to 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows, stirring to coat. Microwave at 100% for 30 to 60 seconds or until marshmallows puff and mixture can be blended to be smooth. Stir in crushed cereal. In formEaster baskets and when cool, fill with jelly beans. Makes 4-6
